The Dubuque County Empowerment Board functions almost solely through the support of committed volunteers. There are many ways you can get involved and make a difference. Board meetings are open to the public and are a good way to learn about Empowerment’s activities. In addition, there are six committees, on which both board members and the public can serve. The committees are

• Board Development Committee
• Early Childhood Task Force
• Long-Range Planning Committee
• Public Relations Committee
• School Ready/Health Committee
